Nearly 300 volunteers removed over 5 tons of debris from Windward Coast beaches Saturday in a massive cleanup effort. The event, organized by Surfrider Foundation Oahu, targeted areas hit hard by recent winter storms.

The Hawaiian Humane Society’s Oahu shelter has reached a record 95% adoption rate through its new Ohana Foster Network program. The initiative, launched in January with 300+ volunteer families, helps animals thrive in home environments while awaiting permanent adoption.
